An attorney in Nashville who has a special speaking message for educators
James was born in Nashville and grew up nearby in Ashland City, Tennessee, graduating from Cheatham County Central High School in 1991. His public speaking experience started early at school events and at his church. His parents built a legacy as educators in the classroom and in administration. Following graduation from Nashville's Lipscomb University, James attended law school at The University of Memphis and spent several years working with law students as a law library reference attorney while also practicing law. He returned to Middle Tennessee in 2004 and began practicing in juvenile court in 2006 - representing parents and the interests of children in dependency and neglect cases and defending youths charged in delinquent cases. James developed a system that ensures a thriving practice and effective communication with clients - moving their cases forward in an efficient manner. Through the years, his community involvement includes volunteer work for The Contributor street newspaper, middle school career day speaker, volunteer attorney for the Cheatham County Sports Hall of Fame, and coach and judge for the Davidson County Youth Court. He is a member of the Church Emergency Response Team (CERT) at Woodmont Hills Church. James enjoys blog publishing and photography and is a big sports fan.
